Hi there!
My name is Bill Bowkett, a journalist based in London and a proud Hertfordshire hedgehog (although I was born in Manchester and remain a red devil).
I am trainee reporter for the Daily Mail, Britain's best selling newspaper. My writing primarily covers politics and home affairs, some of which you can read below or on my MuckRack. I previously worked as an editorial assistant on the features and opinion desk.
Before the Mail, I worked for Reaction as a political reporter where I responsible for the diary column 'The Hound'.
I have been fortunate to appear on television and radio as a commentator, including TalkTV, GB News and the BBC. You can see some of my appearances here. I am also proud to be a judge and ambassador for the Shine School Media Awards.
Aside from journalism, I have worked in the Houses of Parliament and the Legatum Institute. I was also a researcher for a forthcoming book on national identity to be published with Penguin Random House.
