Hi there!
My name is Bill Bowkett, a journalist based in London and a proud Hertfordshire hedgehog (although I was born in Manchester and remain a Red Devil).
I run the news desk at GB News, Britain's number one news channel. My writing primarily covers politics and social affairs, some of which you can read below or on my MuckRack. I was previously a reporter at the London Evening Standard and assistant news editor at the Daily Mail.
Before moving to Northcliffe House, I worked for Reaction as a Westminster correspondant where I responsible for the diary column 'The Hound'.
I have been fortunate to appear as a commentator on television and radio, including TalkTV, Times Radio and the BBC. You can see some of my appearances here. I am also proud to be a judge for the Shine School Media Awards and run The Stationer newsletter in my spare time.
Whether you have a story/tip, are interested commissioning me or inviting me to speak, or just fancy a chat, please do get in touch. My email is bill.bowkett@btinternet.com and my X handle is @Bill_Bowkett.
